Beginning with the NCR release of Counterpoint 8.5.6.4, NCR will no longer support Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. For older versions of Counterpoint running these operating systems, as of December 31, 2019, Counterpoint will no longer be supported on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. This means that NCR will no longer perform testing on Counterpoint using these Windows versions, and therefore will be unable to provide support for problems with Counterpoint that may be related to the operating system.

This decision was made based on Microsoft’s end of support for these versions of Windows. Our recommendation would be to upgrade customers on Windows 7 to Windows 10, and customers on Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2016.

Counterpoint Integration
